One person is dead after being struck by an Albuquerque Fire Rescue vehicle on University Boulevard early Tuesday morning. The crash occurred around 1:30am on University Boulevard near Lomas Boulevard when a fire engine struck a pedestrian while responding to a fire. The pedestrian was reportedly crossing the road where there wasn’t a crosswalk and was wearing dark clothes. No further information has been made available at this time.
