Narrative
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – KRQE News reports that one person was killed in a head-on collision that took place in Albuquerque early Friday morning.
The accident took place shortly before 3:00 a.m. near the intersection of Unser Boulevard and Paradise Boulevard. Authorities say a driver of a blue BMW was driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes on Unser Boulevard when a driver of a silver Chevy Silverado swerved to avoid the BMW but wound up colliding with the BMW head-on.
The driver of the BMW was killed in the impact and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevy was injured in the crash and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
