ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Emergency teams responded to a multi-vehicle collision with injuries and at least one fatality on Thursday in south-central Albuquerque.
The incident happened sometime before 5:48 p.m. on the southbound side of I-25 at Broadway Boulevard Southeast, which is southeast of Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge.
Police haven’t shared any details about the crash except to say that it involved seven vehicles and killed at least one person.
Officials closed all southbound lanes and all but one northbound lane of I-25 while crews worked to clear the scene.
