Narrative
CLOVIS, NM – A 73-year-old died Monday night from injuries sustained when a vehicle struck him at a Clovis intersection.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. near the intersection of Seventh Street and West Street, which is north of Grand Avenue and east of OGPotter Memorial Park.
Police say the pedestrian died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities identified him as Vincent Galvan.
The driver involved in the collision left the scene of the accident.
