Narrative

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A multi-vehicle collision on Paseo Del Norte Sunday morning sent three people to the hospital. Witnesses reported the driver of a Lexus, who was starting to turn left after the light changed at the Coors Boulevard intersection, had a red light when she began to turn onto Paseo del Norte. A Ford truck heading south on Coors struck the Lexus.

A passenger in the Lexus was thrown from the vehicle and was seriously injured, while the driver of the Lexus and the driver of the Ford truck were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities suspect the Lexus’ driver was driving while intoxicated. Charges are pending at this time.
