Narrative
SANTA FE, NM – A 20-year-old passenger died just over a week ago after a solo crash on private property in southwest Santa Fe.
The incident occurred on Sunday, November 26th, around 7:26 p.m. in the area of 4705 Airport Road, which is just west of the Santa Fe Place Mall.
The cause and circumstances of the accident remain under investigation. Police say that a Polaris RZR off-highway vehicle crashed and overturned, fatally injuring the passenger. Police have not yet released the victim’s identity to the public.
It’s unclear at this time if the driver sustained injuries in the accident.
At this time, authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol as factors in the crash. A full investigation is underway.
