SANTA FE, NM – Police are still searching for the driver responsible for hitting and killing a 49-year-old bicyclist in Santa Fe early last month.
The incident happened around 6:16 a.m. on Friday, August 1st, on Old Pecos Trail near Santa Barbara Drive, which is on the west side of Quail Run Golf Course.
Police say that a vehicle struck the cyclist from behind on Old Pecos Trail before fleeing south on Old Pecos Trail.
The victim, identified as Nathan Gray, died two days later at a local hospital from injuries sustained in the accident.
Authorities are looking for what they’ve described as a white and gold sedan. They encourage anyone with information to contact the Santa Fe Police Department.
